Closing the Gap? Plus Fall and Winter Client Gift & Event Guide

Welcome to August, we have seen some changes over the last month. For the first time this year the gap between a home’s list price and sale price in the Grand Rapids Metro area has decreased from just over 16,000 in June to closer to 14,000 in July. Keep this and last weeks report about buyer activity in mind when talking with buyers about their offers and sellers about their listing strategies going forward. Historically, we do see a short dip in activity at the beginning of the school year and a then a little bump in up in the fall, so this change in activity is fairly typical.
